Call for papers

There will be CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS for selected papers

Everyone is invited to submit an abstract that revolves around the theme Advancing Language Teaching with Lexicography and Corpus-Building. Topics include, but not limited to, the following topics:

  1. lexicography and Asian languages
  2. dictionary and ELT
  3. dictionary compilation in digital era
  4. the role of corpus in language teaching
  5. dictionary, corpus, and Asian languages
  6. lexicography and Philippine languages
  7. dictionary, corpus, and Philippine languages
  8. multimedia and multifunction of dictionary
  9. dictionary and culture
  10. terminology, phraseology and neologisms
  11. computational methods for corpus and dictionary building
Abstract Submission

– Proponents may submit 2 abstracts: one as primary author; the other as secondary

– Submissions should contain the following information:
  • Title (maximum of 12 words)
  • Name(s) of proponent(s)
  • Affiliation of proponent(s)
  • Email address (for multiple authors, please provide the email of the corresponding author only)

  • Please use the following format as the filename of your abstract: SURNAME_AsiaLex2016Abstract (e.g., DITA_AsiaLex2016Abstract) in .doc or .docx format
